I was reading on another snowmobile site that the TV show Pink!, which airs on the Speed will feature a match against a pair of ultra-fast Yamaha asphalt snowmobiles. That is pretty cool. They have done bikes before on that show, but this is the first time sleds will face off in the best 3 out of 5, winner takes the other guys ride, match. Now, for the real odd thing. One rider is from the north-eastern seaboard, and the competion is from Wisconsin. Where will they race? Ohio? Pennsylvania? NO. east-central TEXAS! Quite a ways to haul snowmobiles just to race where nobody ever rides them. While I doubt the event will sell many snowmobiles in the deep-south, I would suspect there will be some impressed Texans after they see the sleds run.

Keep an eye out for air times, but the taping is in Ennis, Texas on September 21st.
