I need a new helmet this year and like the appearance of the new EXO helmet, but my dealer tells me that they are still backordered. Why advertise the hell out of a new helmet and not have it in stores yet???

The EXO looks like a GREAT helmet, if i hadn't bought my HJC last year I would seriously consider the EXO. But if you don't want to wait, the HJC CL-15 is an AMAZING helmet.

Same here. Nobody has one yet, SHows are starting in 2 weeks, and I need a Helmet. If i cant get a EXO soon, Ill go with the regular Modular style.

I agree on the advertising, I hate when its in Every magazine, but nobody has it.

None on E-bay yet either! I check every day!!

Get an HJC cl-15, it's an AMAZING helmet. never fogs, snell approved. The only thing i see on the EXO that's better is the sun visor.

I want one of these helmets for the built in sun visor. From the ads it doesn't look like the sun visor drops very far and I'm not sure about the yellow either. Does any other mfg offer a built in sun visor?

Polaris and A.C. both have them w/ built in visors... Not sure, but maybe HJC or one of the other brands MIGHT have one.

Try this..........

www.villagemotorsports.net

I've been at both dealerships in the past couple weeks, and they have stacks and stacks of the helmets. Village Motorsports has both the Scorpion version, and the Doo version.

They do run pretty small. Used to be I always took a HJC XL. Then 2 years ago when I bought a new helmet, I had to go up to a XXXL. I still have my XL helmet, and measured against the XXXL, and it's the SAME size.

The BRP Modular and BV2S XXXL's don't even fit me, they are too small.

My hat size hasn't changed in over 12 years.

The EXO XXXL fits me just fine. That's what my friend bought and I tried it out.

Quick review, after a 5 mile ride: I gotta get me one of these!

I did find they are extremely tight getting on or off due to the wide padding that curves in towards your neck, hard on the ears....anyone else notice this ?

...also the tinted visor should go down a lot more, (like the modular does) it just barely reaches below your line of sight but I don't think that's good enough on a bright sunny day, too much light will get to your eyes.
I have the Amber tear away (Velcro) tint on my HJC and that gives 100% coverage.

If the tinted visor would have given better coverage I would have bought it on the spot, but now I'm not so sure.

The sun visor drops down plenty far, my buddy just bought one. I was saying to get the CL-15, but this helmet looks just as good. They run very small though, my buddy had to get an XXL and my dad fits in an XL he is usually just a L. They also sell sun visors in different colors as well.
