Unless I'm missing something, wouldn't just cutting the head .010 have given you the same thing?

is this why some fuse 6s have lower compression, mine is at 114 on both sides seems low for 1400 miles? my old zrt 8 is at 132 on all three! 6200miles

who cut your head and how much did they charge?

i cut it at work ,my boss is really cool ,i can use what ever the heck i want on my own time.3 cnc machining centers 3 turning centers 2 edm sinkers one of which is cnc

We can cut stock heads. The charge is $100.00. We cut down the depth of the head and re-cut the squish band to maintain enough clearnace. The head mod will give you better mid range and low end power as well as increasing peak HP.

What are the specs of your cuts? I'm thinking of pulling mine and sending it to you, if in deed its an effective mod on this model...Target Comp #'s after cut are?

Tim, I'm interested... The difference in squish on mine was .010 between PTO/Mag sides. Can I be assured that you'll be able to cut it and I'll still be able to run pump gas?

my head was very "true"before i even started ,both squish areas were the same, total run out on the deck surface to the squish and the chamber were both within .001
