I have the opportunity to submit a proposal to an outfit that is interested in sponsoring a racing team. Since this would be a new venture for me and my partners, I was hoping I could get some useful information from teams that have already established themselves.

If anyone could provide us with some information, IE cost of equipment, tools, trailers, fuel, entry fees, ect… We would be most appreciative. Any information is helpful.

Thanks;

Well I guess it depends how big a schedule you want to run and how many guys you'll have racing out of your trailer. If your starting from the ground up and are going to run full RMR schedule maybe a national event you'll need a trailer, tow rig, sleds for 2 racers, spares, race fuel, race gear ie clothes, entry fees, hotels, gas, sled mechanics your looking at $100k. It can be done for less if you only have 1 racer all depends how much money you have to play with. It's a tuff sport to get into costs alot of $$$$$ and takes up all your time.
