it turns over fine, there just isnt any spark?.. my thought is that its the stator. Anyone know of where i could get one? or ideas to what it could be. Its a kawasaki sx550 hull, with a 650 conversion motor. thanks guys :beerchug:

Ebay... There is also a company that stocks older Kawi parts but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. Check pwctoday.com or x-h20.com.

I used to have 2 440's that we used to race. When I had problems with spark I started with the flywheel. I ran aluminum flywheels on both. If I get any water or moisture in that case I would get rust on the flywheel or coils. If you pull the flywheel with a puller you have to be careful screwing into the flywheel becasue if you go too far you can actually hit the stator and break the coil. I did it once and had to replace it. Man I wish I still had all my parts. I used to bring like 5 stators with me when I raced along with a truck full of other parts. I sold it as a package. I should have sold everything on ebay and I probably could have retired by now. So anyways, check for rust behind the flywheel. Good luck
