Hey Everyone,

I am in the process of rebuilding my 96 Ultra and my 96 Indy 500 SKS Carb. I plan on replacing both PTO bearings on both machines and the Mag bearing on the 500.

Does anybody have a good source for crank bearings other than Polaris? Two bearings from Polaris are $70 and I think I should be able to do better. All of them have a pin in them and I can drill a pin hole with a carbide bit if need be. The two inner bearings on the PTO side have the grooves for the circlip and that feature is fairly common. All of the bearings are C3 or C4 clearance.

My biggest challenge is trying to find the PTO bearings on the 500. They are the 62/32 size which is a bit of an oddball.

I have checked: Western Powersports, Part Unlimited, Motovan, Royal Distributing, Shadetree, Manufacturers Supply, Pats Small Engine Parts, Kimpex, and Gopher Bearing her in MN.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Steve

Thanks!

I have sent them all emails with my requirements.

Let's see what happens.

I'll second the motion Ind. I go to them with the bearing number and they'll come back with a price that is better than the dealer. They can get just about brand you want as well.
