12 inches of snow in Deadwood reported September 23. :banana: Wonder what they got in the higher elevations?

Anyone know when the best snow out there is... I have been out there in January 3 years ago, February last year and it seemed perty decent both times... Enuff to get stuck in anyways!!!! Me and a bunch of rookies from down home are planning a trip out there on the 3-7th and just wondering what the conditions should be like.... any info is a help... Meet some guys up at trails head and have a barley pop and talk about the sleds... thanks for any info :fluffy: :fluffy: :celebrating:
