Everybody is saying clutch. What are you all running for clutch kits? I searched and found some are EPI, poo 11-74s, etc.

I was thinking the same!! And I know I'm old!!!

Seriously, bullet-proof the sled before looking for more power, it ain't cheap when it comes to a fuse. most can's decrease HP, & The right pipes void the warranty. So, where does that leave us? Big Bucks for big-bore!, and to only gain like 17 hp!!! (any bolt-on, turbo & nitrous kits out there yet?)

First off, I would consider protecting the chain case!! plugging the holes in the intake to keep belt dust out of the engine, Timbersled Intake for ease of install, SLP venting kits to keep the clutches cooler.

and get some higher wattage lights in it so you can see way out in front.

And keep a cell phone with you incase it comes apart out in the middle of nowhere!!

Snow ingestion was eating some engines too, many siliconed the headlight bezel but lost adjustability. I absolutely love being able to aim my light "on the fly" for differing conditions. so with the timnersled kit with a water barrier would be a start in the correct direction IMHO

15 and on a 900? wow!!

oh yeah, on a cold start, let this baby warm to at least 120 degrees before getting into the throttle heavy. just cuz it is computer controlled doesn't mean you won't cold-sieze it if your not up to temp!!
