Thought I'd say hello to everyone. I just found this site last week, have been looking for a better snowmobile site for a while and it looks like I found it.

I have a 2006 FST Switchback that I got new last December, I had the overheating problems when I first got it and the reverse problems a few weeks later... It was a frustrating first month with the sled but after several trips back to the dealer getting all the "bugs" worked out this sled really started to grow on me.

I'm looking forward to this winter and putting a lot of miles on this sled to see if it's a keeper. I'm very optimistic it is.

Glad you found us. There is power in numbers particularly with the same sled. Nice choice btw, I have two of them. Be sure to check back thru the archives on issues and some solutions. It will be a valuable resource for you.

Welcome aboard, fellow switcher.

Thanks guys, I've been looking a lot through the old posts and they have been very helpful. I think I am going to move my limiter strap 1 notch and see if it improves the steering at all. I don't mind it to much the way it is but it does seem to turn a little hard.

I am also looking to shed some wieght off the sled but I haven't really decieded how extreme I want to go yet because I'd like to keep the sled fairly close to stock (atleast until the warranty is up). I did buy some light-wieght titanimium springs but I haven't put them on yet. I had also heard about a lighter battery that is supposed to have better cold starting power, does anybody know anything about that?

This site rocks!

Hey Crimson

I'm new myself although I've been following the site off and on for a while now. Look forward to adding my 2 cents worth every now and then. Welcome. :div20:
