You are looking for a can that ISN'T "amazingly loud", or one that IS?
Loud pipes/cans = closed trails...if you want to hear loud, record a Harley on your Ipod, then listen to it while you're riding...so everyone else doesn't have to listen!
If you're looking for a quiet can, then power to you, keep up the good work...

I have to agree that there is no place any more for these noisy aftermarket cans unless they can prove they are rated the same as oem.....its just plain bad judgement to be loud.. :banghead: ..with urban sprawl and more non- snowmobile types watching our every move... the days of loud cans are history if we are to keep our trails open.

save your money and put a slp single on it it comes with a can and can be had for around 450.00 they are not loud and they make more power. cans are a waste of money ......

I run the dyno port quiet can. Just a tad louder than stock while cruising, and about the same at lower r's, but a screamer @ 8k r's. I recommend dyno port. $225ish.

i also think cans are a waste of money, but the fusions are a whole different animal. dyno tests prove that you lose h.p. with a can. but seeing that the fusion has a plastic chaincase cover, and putting on a can lightens it up a little and allows a little more air to flow between the chaincase and the stock can i think it's a good idea. have you ever tried to check your chaincase fluid level with a stock can, trust me it's no picnic.

well that the exact opposite. the aft can will get the case cover hotter because it isnt insulated like the stocker. and beleive me i know i warped my cover and lost the fli. htg pipe and dynoport can. u best put some insulation over that plastic cover to protect it.

in that aspect you are correct. i guess insulating should be done anyway. i lost mine this year too. i just can't justify spending 200.00 dollars on an aluminum one. there's gotta be a better way. i hope between insulating and the slp air vents i'm going to install this will really help. any thoughts? where do i get some good insulating material?

A buddy of mine gets these stick on insulated foil tiles that work awesome to protect things as such from heat. I think he use to use them on his dirt bikes so the muffler wouldn't melt the bikes plastic covers.

i got this stuff from my bros diesiel shop he puts it on the firewalls of big truck to protect the wire and stuff from the exhaust manifolds. u can just glue it on or i used foil tape i had no probs with heat after putting that stuff on.http:

insulationDid you install Flow Rites on the can side as well. I'm going to install two of the larger ones on the MAG side in addition to the three small ones on the PTO side.
