About 250 feet.
I can not feed the deer no more than 100 yards from the house per the DNR so I'm about 250 feet.
I did not expect the bear when I started feeding the deer. It's a bonus!!

Again, they are awesome pic's. I bet your a bit cautious after dark walking around with that bear on your property......Better keep the kid's and pets inside! I have a feeder at my cabin in northern WI and the deer both doe and bucks eat there every night. They have gotten a bit relaxed and let us sit about 15-20 yards from them while they eat. It's cool as hell.....BUT I dont want bears visiting :div20:

I don't go to far from the house at night. that's for sure.
Neighbors tell me that they see 2 or 3 bears all the time walking down the street.
Even in the day.
While walking during the day through my woods, I can swear I hear him but, I might be just scared shitless!!
I am told that they will run away if they see you, My luck, he will run at me!!!

That would be my luck too! This pic was sent to me by my neighbor up North...... I would love to see this in person as long as I'm in my car :div20:

When I lived in the UP, I saw bear like that all the time. This is new to me here in the lower.
