We went snowmobiling at Madge a couple of times last season. With the family in Feb. & with the club in Mar.
Would like to explore the area around it a bit this coming season. Like to head up to Moose Range Lodge from Madge but not sure how far it would be. Also Wellmen Lake on the Manitoba side. Awesome area for snowmobiling.

Last trip of last year.( LINK)

We are heading back up there mid-Jan again this year, it is great. We have a great offer to hang out with a member here from Roblin. Some of my buddies prefer the lodge because of the scenery. (Can’t say I blame them) So we may end up staying in the cabins/lodges again and go visit him. I love it there- late next year going to try and make it to the Rockies.

Does madge get much powder or is it mostly trail riding? What about Good Spirit area? I'll be coming back to sask for a couple weeks this winter and looking for a good new place to ride.

There are Great Areas not too far away just East of Madge into Manitoba with lots of Bowls and Powder to play in. Good Spirit is a great starting place with lots of Trail Riding.

It is nice there, with more of a Trail System rather than Bowls or Hills. Lots of Trails, North and South of the Bay. Good accommodations and food at the Treeline Motel.

flag_canada.gif Go to Madge every February w/ a group of 70 -80 riders called the Big Dog Run for the last 12 years. Stay @ Madge Lake Lodge and recomend the accomodations and the food. We've only had one or two bad years for snow but always manage to find enough. Also spend the first day running down to Yorkton and checking out the Hooters shack and Art Bilous's racing snowmobile museum. He has probably 50 - 60 sleds.

Talk to Binkly @ the lodge regarding rooms, cabins or condo's.
