i built a 790 twin out of a 700 twin years ago.
not too hard to do.
back then no 1 had a 800 twin,so the pipes were
the real pain in the arse.

All the aftermarket F8 kits run Polaris 800 twin pistons.
I have never done one, you may have to trim the piston skirts ??
