I LOOKING FOR SOME HELP. MY SONS 2002 PROX 600 HAS 9 TOOTH DRIVERS WITH A 1 1/4 TRACK. CAN 10 TOOTH DRIVERS BE INSTALLED? IS THERE ENOUGH CLEARANCE? ITS A LOT OF WORK TO TAKE APART TO FIND OUT IT WONT WORK. ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

So what is the advantage to the ten tooth driver?

harder for the track to rachet and less rolling resistance

You will have clearance issues at the front exchanger running much more than a 1.25" track with 10T drivers. With the 9T, a 2" paddle JUST fits.

Was definetly wondering that.
How many guys actually run 10t drivers....besides in the mountains?

There's not many mountain riders using 10T drivers, unless they have a dropped and rolled chaincase.
