My sled came messed up in the wiring/electrical department, and i have everything figured out except for underneith the guages/headlight. If someone has a working RXL 650 could they please take a picture of this area so I can put it together properly? Or if anyone has any pictures.

Or, if anyone would like to take a go at another little problem of mine...

all the lights keep blowing. taillights, brakelights, guage lights, etc. i followed the wire for the tail lights and their power comes from the motor? (directly, no regulator etc.). could that perhaps be the cause of the blowing light problem?

Put a new voltage regulator on it. Should be near right foot well close to key swtich. 1 1/2" square with a yellow wire connector.

Agree with regulater, but might add that you might want to check out electrical connections there before replacing it (connection to ground). Sleds that old are starting to get some cruddy connections going - the reason I ended up parting with my RXL. Just couldn't keep it reliable.
