Just posting this for fun, wondering if anyone else out there loves their Scrambler!? I mean we're talking about a 4x4 that will go through 2+ feet of mud and still rip 70mph down a trail and corner with ease. Of course, I never said I kept it stock. Lets show some love for the Scrambler! :div20:

Not stock eh? What did you do to it?
It would just not be right to have a stock one.
I have a '95 Scrambler 400 with a pipe and a few other goodies on it.
Also a '96 Sport 400 with the whole enchilada done to it. That one is fun to ride, we are going out to the sand dunes in Idaho next week, so we will see how it handles a few hills.

I had a '97 Scrambler 500 4x4. It was a nice trail machine, but not all that fast.
Polaris must have made the new ones A LOT faster than my '97 was, 'cause mine would only do about 45 mph (on the speedo).
It was fun on the trails, but wasnt all that fast, IMO. Then again, Ive got a modded '06 Yamaha YFZ 450 SE that Im selling because its too slow, so maybe thats just me...

Sold my fully tricked, beloved Banshee and stock Warrior to buy an '01 500 2x4 and a '96 400 2x4. Mostly trail stuff for me. Yup, no doubt the Polaris machines are heavier, but the automatics more than make up for it. Thinking my average trail cruise speed has actually increased by quite a bit, and can still putt around exploring easily. Very happy with the switch.

Not to Hijack but.... I have a MINT Polaris cover I bought with my 95 Scrambler on fleabay right now. Item number: 150033219833 if your interested. BTW, my 95 was awesome but the guy that bought it from me had problems with it, said the exhaust packing was full of oil and that the oil pump was flowing to much for the mostly winter use I used it for. Don't know if it's a line or not, but I liked it.

Mines an 04 which out of the box ripped about 60mph on some nice hard pack, I changed the weights, springs, and helixes, all made by HotSeat and added smaller sprockets and a perfomance chain. As far as the people saying they are POS's .... :no_bashing:

I love my 01 Scrambler 400! The 400's really wake up once you start modifying them. www.gen3usa.com/forums is a really good forum if any Scrambler owners out there are interested in anything about their machines, both 400 and 500's.
