I'm thinking of picking up a used 2005 700 RMK. It's got an SLP can and pipe and a few other mods. Where there any issues with this sled / engine? How about the SLP can and pipe? Are they noisy as hell? It looks to be a good buy at $4,500 with 1100 miles, but I'm just wondering if there is anything to look out for.

I already have a 2002 700 RMK, is this basically the same machine?

The SLP pipe combo is a nice improvement over stock it's a little louder that the stock pipe at wide open but at idle there the same hope this helps.

Friend has one and I have rode it many times. I really like the sled. It has plenty of power. Only problem he had wiht his is the rubber rings, wehre the carbs slide into the airbox, wouldn't stay in place so he had to put a couple small screws in the rings to keep them in place. Great sled as far as im concerned.

Thanks for the feedback. Thanks to curveballs in life...I think I'll be riding the '02 for another year!

One difference is the TEAM roller driven clutch, and electronic reverse. The TEAM holds RPM so much better in deep heavy snow conditions.

Sounds like the team clutch would be a good upgrade for my '02.
