I just purchased a used Triton enclosed (101x20ft) 4 place and would like to replace the top cover. The old one has a terrible design of having to lift the entire top to load/unload the sleds. The trailer will mostly be used as a garage in Frederic and will accumulate too much snow to make using it easy. Has anyone changed out a top on one of these and if so who did you go with. I want a gull wing type like those on a Floe but would like several options. I also see that Toasters make something that would work but its not my first choice. How much work is this and how much should I be looking to spend? I got the trailer for a good price so I am willing to put some cash into it. Thanks

Yup, and that is the top I was going to recommend. It is made by Montrose Trailers
(formaly known as Xtreme trailers)and is very well built. They are located in Montrose
Michigan(approx. 15-20 minutes north of Flint)and are usually very resonably on their prices.
Give them a shout. Great people to deal with. :div20:

Yep Yamahauler thats what I'm talking about. The cover on this Triton I just purchased looks similar but imagine instead of the gull wings opening you have to lift the entire cover up. The cover is then held up by 4 aluminum legs which is very shaky at best. Moderate winds or snow over 2 inches deep make getting the top up or to stay up impossible. I will give them a call thanks. Did u put the cover on yourself or did u purchase the trailer that way? Anyone ever put a cover on a trailer before?

I have the X-Treme cover on my trailer, same one as in the pic.

Say ya has his opinion on the cap and I have mine although I'm sure it will be fine for the intened purpose. I think we paid $3K installed 2-3 years ago.
