What time of the day (Sunday?) did this occur? Where at on Wardlow? I live near Wardlow and seem to remember seeing a truck pulling a black snowmobile trailer on M-59 between Duck lake and Harvey Lake going westbound a day or so ago. Thought it was unusual because there aren't any events going on.

Hi Phil,
We narrowed it down to sometime between 1:00pm when I drove by, and 8:30pm when my bud got home.
It was sitting in a driveway on South side of Wardlow Road, about 4th/5th house west of Duck Lake Road.
Thanks for the tip.
I need to edit my original post, as I found out yesterday it is actually a "Royal Cargo" brand trailer,
but looks just like the Haulmark v-nose

It was sitting in a driveway on north side of Wardlow, about 4th house west of Duck Lake Road.
Thanks for the tip.

I might be mistaken, but Sunday, I was going to Baker's car show around 4:30 pm and decided to turn around and go to the BP at Tegerdine for some race fuel. So, was east bound when I believe I saw the truck and trailer going west. I wish I could recall the type/color pickup it was. May have been a almost new Dodge.

Thanks for the info Phil...will pass it along.
Every little bit may help in getting some of the $35,000.00 in equipment back.
Or just maybe we can figure out who took it, and we'll take $35,000.00 out of his ass!

Takes a lot of nerve to pull into a driveway and hook up to a trailer with neighbors nearby on both sides. Surely, someone else saw it. I'll keep my ears open for someone selling equipment cheap.

Good luck.

King Kong balls is what it takes...!!!
Trailer was parked less than 20 feet from nextdoor neighbors bedroom.
Neighbor across the street was outside in his barn with doors wide open all day.
Neither saw/heard a thing.
Bastards even had to cut the lock off the tongue.
Seems that they had scoped it out pretty good/watched it for awhile.

P.S.
Also added a photo of a trailer similar to what was stolen. His didn't have the red/white checkerboard stipe though.

That totally sucks... and takes quite a set to do that daytime! :banghead:

Nothing special looking about the trailer unfortunately. That is where some cool unique graphics come in handy for ID'g. I saw MANY sled trailers on the hwys this weekend, so it was not unusual. I figured people bringing them home to get ready, or returning them up north after prep work.

How do you part out a trailer???

They'll probably just dump the trailer somewhere...too hard to hide, although there are hundreds of those style units being towed around.
The sleds on the other hand....well, parts galore!!!

Did he have insurance?

Did he have insurance?

Had insurance on his 2006 Apex, and the trailer. Our other riding bud had both his sleds (the Cat and the Classic) in there and no insurance at all. Still waiting to hear final number from the insurance agent, not that its going to be all that good...will still be out (3) sleds. That Cat was worth over $8000.00 with everything that was in it.

Bump, to the top, for my bud's.

anybody find this yet?
edgehead
No luck finding any of it. Just a lot of "talk" around town...nobody pointing fingers yet.
He has to turn in paperwork for his claim by end of the week, or he looses it.
May the rotten bastards rot in hell for this...or my buddies find out who it is first!
