Anyone else heard of a rumour about Mr. Chisholm constucting a drag strip adjacent to the stock car track? Wow, if it's true, I hear asphalt tracks spinning & the sweet smell of 2-strokes in the summertime.............makes the sleds a little more valuable-when you can use them 9 months/year............ :beerchug:

Jeez Pete if ya want to spin your ashphalt track there are 4 strips in the Maritimes now (just remember....clutch bump=RED LIGHT) :beerchug: and the fields are fragmented enough with scheduling conflicts between tracks. If Big John does open a strip it'll spell the demise of 1 maybe 2 of the others because there just isn't enough competitors out there.

Anyways that is the rumour that's been going around for over a month now, he has the land and obviously had the $$$ so I guess I'll just keep watching when I drive by Riverside everyday.
