Whens the earliest time of the year you've seen snow? I dont mean ridable snow just any snow. I could be remembering wrong, but I swear I recall having a real light dusting on the ground one morning the last week of Sept., about 8 yrs ago.

I'm not having dreams of snow in few weeks just wondering.

I had a dream about two weeks ago that we got over a foot of snow over night in July and I was able to ride till noon then it all melted away. LOL....

To stay on topic the earliest I can recall was the second week of October about 6-8 yeasr ago.

i distinctly remember snow flurries the first monday in october of 2000. i was on a job site for the first day to begin framing in a house and was freezing my azz off...(not really, but in October it sure feels that way!)
this was ealry am, and by sun-up the frost was gone along with the snow.

One of the weaqther gals at channel 12 WJRT here in Flint, Mi recalls the same one I was witness to back in the late 80's, it was an overcast SUMMER DAY(june/87 I believe)in Clio, Mi, cool temps(around 70*) and all of a sudden huge snowflakes began descending from nowhere, we all about shit our pants when we looked outside from within the house, we couldn't believe our eyes,,, this was unlike anything with nature we'd ever witnessed before, it lasted 2 maybe 3 minutes leaving a slushy 1/4''-1/2'' coating on top of the grass areas, to be melted within 15-20 minutes or so,,, funny thing, the channel 12 weather gal remembered it because her fiance was northbound on I-75 returning from work and ran into it on his motorcycle, never seen anything quite like it dunno.gif

I saw snow on the side of I-75 today, about a half mile band just after 5pm,between I-475 & us23.Can any one confirm,It only built up in patchs mostly next to the grass, but it was so cool .I wanted to stop but didnt think it was safe, already bunch of gawkers on south side about had it moving 45mph or slower over there. After that heard there was flooding some where around hill rd from a storm that went threw. Two miles later it was dry
