FIREBALL 440
In model year 2000 skidoo made a MXZ 700 millenium (sp?) edition sled. How do I tell if mine is one of these special editions. on the left side of the tunnel it is stamped 2000 series. it is a 136" track with HPG shocks front and rear.

i believe the millenium was black with chrome decals and it said millenium across the hood.

the millenium Doos where all black with chrome accents(MXZ 700,Summit 700,MachZ and GrandTouring SE),short brake lever, tunnel grips and couple of other things

The stamping 2000 Series on the tunnel must mean its the S-2000 chassis. My 01 MXZ doesnt have that stamping and I'm assuming that year was the start of the ZX chassis?

ZX chassis debut'd in '99 (the mxz/summit 600 and mxzx 440).

2000 series is stamped on the model 2000 year machines. The 1st production Zx was the 99.5 mxz 700. Basically the same as the 2000 mxz 700s but it had cast iron cylinders, not the nicasil coated .

Forgot to mention the Mach 1, my Father in Law bought his (now my) 2000 Mach 1 and decided not to go with the ME package for the extra $$.
