We are cutting in a new section of trail so as to avoid running through a gravel pit in Tamworth. Wow1.gif You know the one, it's where we ride through gravel on our new sleds. :banghead: If that bothered you here's your chance to help eliminate it.
The pit owners are happy to let the trail pass in a much more sled friendly spot :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug:
Who wants to help? Short notice, but this is a good cause!!!
We want the trail to pass our NEW tucker! dance_2.gif But the new tucker is WIDE... Wow1.gif
I can keep more than a few guys busy burying brush 10' off the trail. :cn:
Takers? dunno.gif
Should be 4 hours or so with the right number of hands.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In other OVSC news, 3 dedicated club members completely removed a 30' bridge in preperation for the NEW Tucker friendly bridge! Thanks guys! Smoother trails in Wonalancet!

Thanks for your interest in the OVSC trails! :div20: :beerchug:

The picture looks out (more or less) on where we will be working!

That gravel pit didn't bother me at all last winter, but I'm gonna try and be there anyway! frech11.gif The only thing that could stop me would be some kayak business on saturday, but the way this summer is going that would be a long shot! :frech32:

That is a bitchin photo OT! Did you take that?

What time are you going to meet on Saturday and where? As you already know I have to work so I won't be able to make it. If you meet at Canoe King I would at least be able to say hello to everyone.

OT it was fun working with you again, its been a while.... :div20:
We did our best, but we did not complete what we started, there was much more brush then we thought. I pooped out around 11:30 or so I think the hot hot week at work caught up with me. Flush.gif
1/2 the trail is cut. 1/3 is brushed +/-.
I guess we will be dooing it next weekend. :beerchug:

Old Timer and CKF are out there as we speak. Changing routing of part of it or something.

We dragged the last of the brush so now it's a fresh start this week-end. Took us maybe 20 minutes. Still LOTS of work left out there.

I'll see if I can find someone to work with you on Saturday. The James Pond Loop needs some minor brushing so we can get a crane in to the new bridge project. Might be a better option if we can't find someone like OT to cut at Brox.
