My son is moving to Big Rapids, and needs to find info for the area, especially an apartment that would take pets(dog). The trouble is, he only has a few more weeks to get everything set up.He was in town yesterday and was not able to find much.Pretty much eveything has to be done by phone or e-mail, as he has to report to his new job by 8/27 and works most of the weekends in between. Can't drive over to check things out anymore (about a 7 hr drive one way). Any help would greatly be appreciated.Send me pm's.
Thanks,
99 ZL

Hey whens hes bored he can come down the road to Stanwood Motorsports and visit us. We are an authorized Arctic Cat dealer just down 131 from Big Rapids.... PM with any questions on the area. A guy I work with lives in town in an apt and has for a few years I could probably get you in contact with him. Let me know.

Have him contact the school to see about getting a list of the area apt. complexes that offer rentals.
Also might try contacting the chamber of commerce to see if they have any info available.
I went to Ferris in the late 80's, had the time of my life!! :div20: He's gonna love it up there! :div20:

don't live in Hillcrest apartments, they have gone down hill.
Try the college house apts. or creeks edge apts.
Things have changed in the past several years polaris bob, not that much trouble you can get yourself into anymore. No more "Alibi" in town and most the other bars have shut down too.
Oh well good luck and have fun up there.

Yea the Hillcrest sucked way back in the day too, so that does not surprise me.
Never was much of a fan of going to the Alibi, but that was where the chicks hung out to get their grove on. I was more of a Casy Mcnabs (sp) kind of guy! It helped that my bud was the bartender and we would always get free drinks! :div20:
We would also hang out at that bar in town, Schuburts, they had some of the best bar burgers around! :div20:

Well Casey McNabbs is now a chinese restaurant, fortunatley they still have the hideaway down in the basement. Schuburgers are AWESOME... there are a couple decent bars nothin too special though, I would stay away from the odysey club out by the falcon head golf course.

Timing is bad, you got that right! You might try north in Reed City or something. Big Rabbits is a ghost town now but that will be changin' quick. I should have enrolled there in '87, but I had to go to prison instead! (to work!)

Falcon head has gone to the dumps, it use to be called the Creek I think.
Anyways they use to have battle of the bands there that was pretty cool. Lots of fights after words but it was a fun place to drink Bombas.
Now your really make me think, I blocked out most of those days.
Anyways I graduated in 98
