I have a 98 zr600. I foundthe grease fitting for the track drive assembly, but I can't find one anywhere that I can see for the jackshaft on the secondary clutch. Is there one and if so where? and if not how doe it get greased. On my Polaris there was always a fitting right behindthe secondary clutch, I have look through the schematics and cant find one.
While I'm asking is there any other grease fitting that besides the rear suspension and fr steering that I should know about
Thanks

1 other fitting is under the secondary clutch /speedometer adapter which takes one pump of grease only---5 or 6 in rear susp. and 2 up front. No jackshaft grease fitting.....tigger

The jackshaft is for the most part a sealed bearing and since it dosnt run in the water it wont need greasing. But the later models they did add a fitting there. Too much grease in a bearing binds it up and slows it down. On the drive bearing its sealed too your just packing up to the seal with grease and some will seep in, but water will seep in too because snow packs in on the other side. Its a catch 22 if you pack the grease in it slows you down if you dont grease water will rust you out and break the bearing
