Anybody run these? I have heard the 14 inch wide track is better thatn the 15 inch. Kinda like the firecat track, better on top end with no loss in the powder and a increase in handleing? You thought please...

I would think there has to be some loss in the powder...losing 1" of width on the track decrease surface area, it might just be so minimal it isnt noticeable unless you were to try them side by side at the same time.

depends on what you are comparing it to. the 14" does turn better than the 15" but has less floatation in powder. but the 14" has higher track speed than the 15" in powder. the 14" is better in until the powder gets 2.5 to 3 feet deep, then you'll want the 15". top speed is better on the 14" due to less rotating mass. stronger lugs and less foot print also help with trail traction. i put one on my nephew's 550 Pro-x and it rips nicely.

Be wary of the 14in tracks that came on the racers and or the soft lug versions.
They all suffered torn lugs and delamination probs when trail ridden.
This was the 1 3/8 and 1 5/8 tracks that were standard on the 440 racers.
They were light and used soft durometer lugs for the cornmeal the crossers ride in.
Thay are truly shit for trail riding.

As for the 14in size, good for turning, slightly lighter, prolly lose flotation and the sled gets a little tippy, much like the Fcat feeling.
