just bought a 1979 lynx decent shape rebuilt motor.need info on some parts it lost spark put new coil on it and cdi what else could it be.also do any of you know where to get parts this is a free air sled it dont have any gauages at all on it also what is the differance between the 2000T and the 2000S

2000 s is a single cylinder. It's 1/2 of the 5000 engine used on the El Tigre 5000. Uses the same cdi.

What you have is a twin, NONE of the engine parts are interchangable.

Check the trigger coil next to solve your problem.

Arctic Cat has a suprising number of old part #'s in stock. 1979 parts, most are still available.

check to make sure all your ground are real tight and non of the wires are broke or shorted.
