i rode up in pittsburg a bunch of times this year and loved the place. All the people were great. Went to a few sights like the fire tower and stub pond. For next year, i was wondering how to get to MAGALLOWAY BOWL and DIAMOND RIDGE Thanks alot. Hopefully the next 7 months go by fast.

Diamond Ridge is on the Ridge Runners map. As for the bowl - off trail exploring..

:div20:

Diamond Ridge wont be hard at all to find.

The bowl wont be hard either if you want to spend some time exploring. Best advice I can give you is to get as close to it as possible using some offtrails then break your own trail for the last 500-600meters.

ya ive been around where they both are but i wasnt sure if there was a certain trail to take to get up to them. I saw where Diamond Ridge is located on the Ridge Runners Map so that shouldnt be a problem. Love that off trail exploring. thanks guys...anymore detailed directions would be awesome.

I was on diamond ridge yesterday, there was 3 feet of snow on the north ridge, the road to the over look is still snow covered.
7 months is long time....

Dual, I'm assuming you rode up Diamond by sled? If so then so far you're the last hcs to ride. Pathfinder's last ride was 2 days ago. :beerchug: http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/inde...ic=154318&st=15

28 miles on foot? WTF? I'm sure he's from Mars now! frech11.gif

Technically, I think Dualmass was the last one out on a sled. I remember when we were coming out on the 17th, and were about to cross the single machine bridge, almost out to Rt 3, he pulled over and let myself and Jesse go first, and he crossed after we both did ahead of him. I noticed at that time that he may have been playing for the"last one out", and I guess I was right. If you want that title, its yours, you deserve it.

Any big ones? dunno.gif Was it worth walking farther than the Boston marathon? I hope so!

Wherever the Hell Dualmass is from, he must be one "In Shape" dude. He can
start his own workout video titled " Follow Me and Get Fit You Puss Gut". Kind of like a Richard Simmons video but less gay. Just a thought dunno.gif

Your'e right, I think he could make a mint on E-bay selling this new workout video to people "one time", because he would kill them on the first cycle!

Let's find a catchy title for it, like "Snow shoe your ass off", "Antler Me Thin", "Antlers Poppin, Waistlines Droppin'","East Inlet Death March", you get the idea! frech11.gif :tease: :smilielol:

It's time to copyright these names before someone else gets them.

On the "last one out game",
I did not let you guys pass me for that reason,
I wanted to go into scotts bog, BUT you guys just kept going back to rte 3...
I am no fitness person, Flush.gif
I suffer the entire time I am doing it,
BUT the thought of finding the BIG one keeps me moving. :tease:
I had four days last week that I carried out 60 pounds or more. Yesterday I found two antler that weighed over 23 pounds each! I had to leave some of the other antler in the woods...
I might go up next week, if anyone wants to do some walking.

And there is still snow out there... :fluffy:
coolx2
Are you going out Sat or Sun of next week?
