Mark,

Thank you for taking the time to post pictures of your trip. That place looks absolutely beautiful. Looks like a little bit of heaven there......

What does a trip like that cost? Do you save much by having such a large group, or is it still feasable for a group of 4-5? Certainly seems if you're passionate about snowmobiling, it's a trip that you have to take at some point..... Digger?...
Mr T?.....Corsair?.......Snobnk?.........you guys reading this?

Thanks again, Mark. I'd really be interested in talking with you sometime about this :beerchug:

Hi Batman,

Yes, you can save a bit if you have more people going. Contact the travel agency you want to use for prices. :div20: It is still very resonable for a small group. :div20:

Helga and I spent about $3,800 total for the two of us. That included all our costs; air fare, transportation from Boseman to West Yellowstone and back, accomodations, food & drinks, snowmobile rentals and tips. It does not include anything that Helga just had to have to remember the trip. :banghead: Believe me, that really can add up. :banghead: Don't tell her I said that.

It is really the "Meca of Snomobiling" in the lower 48 states and I would go back and do it again anytime. The next time I would spend more time outside the park and explore more of the Idaho and Wyoming trails because I have been there already and want to explore more of the area. :div20: If it is your first time out there you definately want to spend at least two days in the park. :div20:

I've been once when your ready to go let me know. Spent one day in the park that was enough for me. We hooked up with a local and rode back country with him for the rest of the week I was there. :beerchug:

Maybe we can get a HCS trip to Yellowstone next year? dunno.gif I would be very interested. :div20:

What we really need is someone to "VOLUNTEER" that will coordinate all of the logistics to pull it off. :div20:

Helga and I can go anytime during the winter as long as I don't have to up date the web site while we are gone. :banghead: Some of you guys gave me some greif this past winter for not up dating the web site often enough.

Mark, the Awsome pictures of your trip to Yellowstone bring back some Great
memories. I made two trips out there , January of 1989 and 1990 with the
Southern NH Trailblazers . The trip cost back then was $1000 . Air fair , lodging,
transportation from Boseman Mont and 5 days Sled rental included. What A Deal!
The Wildlife was spectacular, Rideing was great everywere. Veiws from Two Top
Mountain were like being at the top of the world. I even Blew Up the engine
in a Arctic Cat Prowler about 40 miles out in the park. I got a ride back to West Yellostone and they Kindly gave me another sled to ride and retreived the dead one. Nice Folks out there, That trip is a Must for anyone who can do it. :div20:
