New at picking tires for a quad. I have a choice of either ITP deep lug or Bearclaws. which is a more durable and better wear?

i like the bearclaws
i got them for a good deal on rocky montain atv
they were gonna be my tires for summer but i decided to just use them on the ice with some screws
WINTER XCR
I have 589 itp on my 02 grizzly I love them I have aprox. 2500 miles on them they are about 75%. I believe that is good wear.

I am putting a set of 26" mud Lites on my 500 Auto 26x10x12 in front and 26x12x12 in rear

My dad has 5,000 miles on his ITP 589's, not showing much wear. As good as they are, there design is dated and I think there might be something better. Check out the ITP mud lite XTR and the Interco swamp lites. I've heard nothing but good form the owners of swamp lites.

The Lite series of tires are good for one Big reason they are half the weight of any other brand out there, less spinning mass means less HP lost at the ground

I just put the 26x9x12 and 26x11x12 Mud lite XTR's on my 500 and have put over 40 miles on them this weekend, I l;ove them so far and they have the same tread pattern as the 589's only in a radial for a smoother ride, so far they seem to ride better than the stock radials I had and the ride is the same or smoother I think, with much more traction with the 1-3/16 inch lugs
