Here's my 02 zr 800 cross country. The riser is a 6.5 and the isovibe adds 1.5. All the wires and the brake line were okay. I do not know if the stock throttle cable will work. I have a left throttle and it adds extra length.

THATS PERFECT -- nice job - do you think the iso-vibe is worth the $$$$?

I have the older isovibe. It is worth every penny. Takes the jarring and big jolts out of the handlebars. I will have one on my next sled.

I put a Powermadd 8" on. It's cheaper than the Isovibe, but the Isovibe set-up would be better. I get a LOT of vibrations.I didn't have to get extensions, I just had to pull the throttle cable out a bit more and bend the brakeline from a 90 degree to a 45.

nice!! 8 is what i was thinking overall -- maybe an isovibe and a 6 inch riser should be close

You might want to check Oles Machines website. I got a 4" riser for my
ZL500 and installed it last weekend. I found the riser to be more solid
than some of the other (more hollow) risers I looked at.
Here are some pic's:

Can't run an oles riser in a cce. That model has a riser block. So u need to buy a different riser or add an isovibe.
