how exactly do you do this with solder?

take some solder about .080" thick and cut two pieces about 6"'s long bend a leg on them about 2"s long and put these two legs 180 degrees across from each other down the plug hole and have someone roll the engine over with the clutch, your trying to get the solder all the way out to the edge of the cylinder and you should use one on both side s of the piston at once to keep the piston from rocking a little and giving you a false reading.

you want to check on the sides, above the piston pins, not front or rear, Intake or exhaust. JT
