As I pulled the sled off the truck this morning I was thinking, another one without reverse. I hope they give us the option.

possibly ( i believe ) here will be if there is enough clearance to fit the newr dd cases in without interference

, i suspect the bolt pattern will remain the same along with splines on output coupler

Mounting pattern looks different, to me, but only at lower end. Betcha someone builds a template to cut it out, put in new bracket, and wire in a switch. Prob. won't get all the guchi safety interlocks like the factory one. Who's gonna offer the kit first?

I doesn't sound to prommising. To start with the frame hole is different, The outer drive lugs on the track are cut to allow clearence for the inner part of the case which inturn requires the use of a 4wheel kit to keep the track on the snowmobile. They had to upgrade the stator to provide more juice to run the solenoid. Also the wiring harness will be completely different plus they are adding a second control unit entirely to control the reverse system which is mounted above the righthand skiwell.

Yeah I was really looking forward to being able to add reverse to my 05M7 so I had the dealer ask one of the engineers specifically if there would be a kit and if not what all was different.
