You don't need lazer cut anything, if you have the blade type valves, and IF you have a BRAIN you can use washers that are the proper thickness, they go between the powervavles and the mounting pin. Nothing to it, there something simular to the power valve shims that bikeman sells.

Do not use washers they have the potential to fracture and the peices fall into the cylinder. I have some laser cut shims out of aluminum that will not fracture. $10.00 shipped. This is not a sales pitch, I don`t do this to make any profit. Just trying to help.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for chiming in, yes the washer as a shim idea is a short term fix at best.
I'll forward your info and get my buddy to deal with you direct.
Appreciate it.

Mike, thanks...I'm the contact for ZR's buddy. I PM'd you my address this morning, and a check is on the way. ZR is right...the owner that needs the shims is a great guy, but has these giant, greasy, mis-shapen paws that can barely hold a can of beer, let alone make something smaller than a breadbox! :smilielol:
Thanks again, Rob Clark

I've yet to see him have problems with a can of beer...............the rest seems pretty accurate.

Poor Pokey, not here to defend himself.

Hey my cat eats dogs,
You realize you are talking to THE MAN! when it comes to valve shims right? If it wasn't for ZRsledhead, we would all still be taking out pistons.
And he was nice enough to let us all in on it for FREE!
