journeyjohn

Mid Range

I was at the Ottawa show too...not a lot of new stuff unless you're at the Cat booth. Doo and Yammy have some changes here and there, but nothing drastic. The Poo camp was pretty much empty the 1.5 hours I was at the show...You'd think their dealers must have been a bit disappointed when looking at the crowds at the other three.

I thought the phazer was more than a just a change here or there for yami

So what did you guys think of the show ? I thought you only needed 20 min and then that was it.
Also i found sleds are getting very big, fat and ugly !
journeyjohn
After the show there's only one sled for me, Crossfire. The new F-series look a little better in person but once you sit on it, it does feel bulky. Nothing like a firecat, which I'm still suprised they got ride of. The Polaris Dragon 700 did look cool, but other than that unimpressive line-up. Ski-doo was alright, everyone still seems drawn to the Mach Z. If I was getting a sled just for trails, Mach Z is king. Yamaha sleds look great but do feel bulky as well, but I guess after sitting on a Phazer all the other sleds felt bulky. If the Phazer had 120 HP, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It felt very slick and must be awesome to ride. Light and I like the 14" track, feels alot like my firecat except for the narrower seat.

I think I might keep the Cat for another year :div20:
bingo
I wnet to the show at lunch....WTF!!!! No F1000 there!?!? I know it is the same as the F8 but still, would have liked to have lifted it, checked it out etc.

The look of the F grew on me there.....snow pro edition in orange was awesome.

anybody gt 18 K for me....taxes and studds will get you there!! The price is way out of wack for a sled, can't justify it....will wait for a couple of years and buy one used.
