now that winter is offically over i had my change in sports this morning, me and 2 other friends went waterskiing to kick off the first day of april!!! :beerchug:

I did that the 3rd week of March a long time back.

Dry Suits Right ? Whats the water temp......BRRRRRR!
Last time I was in in April I remember Ice Cream head aches at top speed.
Any exposed skin was burning red after......sure it was still fun though:)
Guess I need to think water now !

according to the boat the water was 53. thats about what it felt but i question it because there was still some ice on the shores around the lake

I was skiing april first also, just did sliders off the beach and landed on the beach(on jump skis), aka didnt really get wet. Just wore the jump suit and I was all set :beerchug:

thats a good idea
we were gonna try dock starts but none of us had done them so we figured we may end up being in the water more than we would if we just did a deep water start
do you jump or just use jump skis?

Yea my son jumps, but im too old, he's 15, we had the same dilemia so we decieded to just do beach sliders, do you show ski or 3 event? I show ski and do mostly of the barefooting, my son does jump barefoot doubles, its a real good time.

as of now i only slalom but i am hoping to get into jumping this year even though knowing how hard it is to get a slalom course permit in NH i have not clue how i could get a jump
do you ski any tournments?

I know a lake in central NH that has a course setup specifically for water skiers...It has all the buoys setup...I have no idea wat kinda course it is...i jsut know its for water skiers...

i believe the only course that can say up perminately in the state is the one on back bay and that has a long story to it

6 inches + of snow in Pittsburg tomorrow, may actually be able to get to the off trail stuff a bit easier.
