what do you guys really think about the nex phazer? i know what it is like but i want to hear what u guys think of it.

i rode one last weekend and overall it was a good machine except i wasnt a fan of the winshield and it could have a 550 or 600 in it. I liked how you could throw it around like a sport atv it was just like my old blaster.

That's what I liked about it was how much your body english helped it get around where you wanted it to go. I would buy the Mountain Lite version just for the Fun factor of it. They are supposed to have Demo rides at Giants Ridge this weekend on the new Yami's might have to check it out again, EJ said he was going to try and get a Mountain version for Demo'ing

the mountain version would definitley be awesome. I read something that its gotta a 144 X 2 track which would be pretty slick

ya a 144 X 2 X 14 is the track and boy would it be fun with 20-30 more HP than the 85hp they come with, still should be a fun little sled for bombing around in the swamp in the deep snow

yamaha is developing a turbo that will push 130 hp

MCXpress is advertising a turbo for the Mtn. Lite that will make the Phaer 140 HP. Check out MCX Turbo

MY BIL rode one a week or two ago - dealer demo. He actually thought they would be a lot of fun and was interested in getting one PRIOR to riding it. Maybe he'll come on and give his take on the whole deal. From what I understood he thought being a four stroke it would have a continuous power band. While it was light and manueverable he equated it to a 440 with not enough snap to give it any lift. Of course he is like 6'3". He said perhaps for someone light or the kids its more aimed at it might be fun.

Ajinx's BIL here. She correctly quoted me and I now am told that the race sled for Yamaha next year will be the same chassis beefed up. I think it will be a pair of 450YFZ jugs though or maybe a turbo.

yeh but how much is all that going to cost because my dad want to get one for me and i want more hp so that would be great if it was affordable. :banghead: :banghead:
