Full Version: HELP SAVE THE SCHUSS MOUNTAIN HILL RACES!
HCS Snowmobile Forums > State and Province Snowmobile Forums > US Snowmobile Forums > Michigan

redfirecat03
It looks like the minority of people who didn't have fun at the Schuss Mountain Hill races are about to cause the cancellation of future races by overloading this forum with complaints.

If you had a great time and want to do it again next year please speak up and let the great people who organized this event know it. :div20: :div20: :div20:
Sled Solutions
I didn't even go and I support what they did. Planning such a large event is a lot of work and there will always be glitches.

Kevin,
Don't let the few complainers ruin it, I would have been there if my schedule would have allowed it.
SNOFREEKZX
EVERONE THAT I RAN INTO HAD A GOOD TIME AND EVEN THOUGH I GOT BEAT OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND I STILL HAD A BLAST.

SO GUYS DONT LET IT END.

Thats a shame Kevin was bummed- he should be very proud of himself and everyone who worked so hard to pull this event off.

Speaking for myself it was the highlight of the snowmobile season and a great way to go out with a bang!

By the way- the trophys were awesome this year and whoever picked them out deserves a :div20:
trbomax
He's OK, no matter what you try to do someones going to get a stick up thier ass and complain. He knows that,he's probably raced more than any two guys that were there.Anytime you have losers you have whiners. He's already planning what to do next year !

The Sled-X.com team had a blast. Dont let a few complainers ruin a great event. You cant make everyone happy. If you guys do it again next year, we will be there. Thanks for a great time.

There ... See Kevin ? This is how MOST people feel !
twostrokesmoke
final wrap up meeting on the 13th with the mountian ?? only thing im not happy with is (1) running out of bud lt by 2pm// burger by 3pm// miller lt by 7pm.. what else should i tell them.. other than drink be merry/ love snowmobilers// hate tree huging skires stirthepot.gif stirthepot.gif
redfirecat03
Only suggestion I have would be to get a dry erase board/ chalk board or some way to display the numbers of the racers for staging in the hot pits. It's very hard to hear the numbers called out on the P.A. when all the sleds are running and warming up in the pits.

Maybe an outdoor concession stand would be good too??

Can't wait for next year!! :beerchug:
snowjunkiemonkey
tree hugging skiers?.. If not for skiers, the hill wouldnt have snow and hence a drag. Not all skiers are tree huggers, in fact I like to ski thru the trees when I ski which involves choppin them down. The lack of beer and food two years in a row is a problem, Schuss skiers must not like to party like sledders. :burp: The race must go on to become the premier spring event. My cat bigger than yours.
zr6?
The problem with the food and beer is that its the last day for the bar to be open and they purposly don't order enough so they aren't sitting on it. They want to sell out.
slow goin
I am new to this site, I had to join to reply about the
Schuss race. We were there for 7 hours watching and
were very impressed. As soon as I got back home we
started planing next years trip to the race. You did a
great job and we hope to see there next year. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
