I just checked the wx for Cabano and the day time temps through Sunday are 7, 11, 6, 7, 9 and 8 Celsius. Probably be even warmer if it's the same as last week-end. They called for 0 or 1 and it was 48F or more. If you try riding just a couple of notes. The lake at Cabano was very soft on Sunday. Pohenagamook club pulled the stakes on the lake and it was ride at your own risk. Going around the lake on the road wasn't good. The gas at Squatec was accessible by the bridge only. About 5 or 600 feet on blacktop. I doubt if 557 is passable now. 526, 518 and 571 were good, didn't test 548. There are numerous blowouts starting to appear on the trail. Ride accordingly and be careful!!!! :cn:

I agree its Spring riding conditions now in this area, with no to very little interconnecting capabilities.

Also need to keep these issues in mind for anyone wanting to do a day ride:

Notice : The FCMQ will cease publishing trail condition reports effective March 27. Local riding in remote Northerly areas is still possible. We ask that you contact the clubs in these areas prior to making arrangements to visit these locations and that you exercise extreme caution in your end-of-season riding.

Please respect private property to help your club keep the land access for future years. Thanks to all volunteers for their tremendous work and see you all on the trails next season !

I suspect the locals will be riding in the mont midi area/ back woods roads in lac of the east for several more weeks. A few outdoor cookouts ect

A great season in quebec however, doesn't get much better
