Just got back from an overnighter. The groomed trails were perfect. Got into some nice meadows and hills, the snow was just below my waist. We were jumping over a beaver dam and landing in 3' of untouched powder. most snow we've had in over 10 years for sure.

Trails were groomed here on thurs, but with the High Winds we had Sat+sun, everything is ruff+rock hard drifts everywhere...We picked up the signs from Rose Valley to Greenwater, and today we are picking up the ones from RV to Archerwill...The groomers are done for the yr...and its supposed to be +5 for the next few days...Looks like its the END!!!!

Everything is all said and done in the Moose Jaw area, Puddles and mud are the norm. It was an ok winter, next year will be better. :beerchug:

What's wrong with Candle Lake? I've snowmobiled the cris-can trail there and the trails seem fine. I don't really care for those really wide trails that are around emma lake and up to elk ridge(for example), even though they are groomed really well. It's just that you never know if someone is going to come flying around the corner and smoke you...that and I need a lake every couple of miles to open 'er up on  . Guess i'm just used to the narrow trails up at Weyakwin lake, barely ever see anybody on those.

Rode 100miles Saturday and 40Miles Sunday. The snow was so wet and deep in the fields on Sunday that the sled was powering out. We will still be able to ride this weekend easy. The only problem will be getting out of town. Depending on what the weather does, we could be riding two weekends from now as there is about two feet of snow left in the fields.

Still got great riding up here North of Kinistino. 2 foot cover on the ground every where. Some rough spots out there but nothing my ol Yami can't handle. I slow down a little for the real rough stuff just so I don't break nothing though. Some real nice jumps out there now, my dug out bank has the perfect incline to it now. It's drift up on a slight angle then it's about 50 degree angle up. You can shoot off of it real nice. Some nice powder to land in on the other side to.
I like it better now then what it was like 2 weeks ago. Now I can get up on top of the snow plus my track hooks up a 100 times better.

My jag 340 handled the powder well this winter...
Well not really but it was awesome getting it up to full speed(about 55mph lol) and then go flying into an untouched ditched that has about 4 feet of powder. Slow down to about 5 mph plowing through that stuff but I always made it out some how. Good times.
