Hey Guys

I just wanted to know if anyone on here knows a good place in the Peg to get some powder coating done?

I'm going to do some changes to my 79 750 Special, and am looking to get a bunch of parts coated. Any idea roughly what the cost on getting this stuff done is?

Central Sandblasting on Gunn Road. Does a good job and is reasonably priced. They did the A-arms for my F7.

LOL, you have a dirtbike in your living room? Now THAT'S hardcore. I'm lucky if my parents will let me keep the sled in the garage this summer.

But back on topic, how much would it be to do a set of A-arms? Mine are getting rusted.

industral coating is pretty cheap, this place i went to was doing a bunch of beds for stony mountian penatentury, so i taped a few files underneath them, j/k

If I'm not mistaken it was about $80-90. That was for sandblasting and powder coating, that price included sandblasting my pipe too. Make sure you take your spindles apart and clean all the grease out as best you can, and then put them back together before you take them in. If you don't get all of the grease out it'll run the finish. Don't forget to get your ski saddles done too.

do they have lots of colors to choose from? I got my suspention parts done at Winnipeg Wheel works and they had to order the paint in.

the job cost me 150 at Winnipeg Wheel Works and that included the sand blasting so i got a good deal

Ouch..150 for those 2 little pieces...

Yah, they've got other colors. If they don't have the color you want, they can get it. It's cheaper to go with black.
