I am thinking of getting a Free Style Back Country for 07 now that they come with the 550Fan.. Anyone happen to test drive a demo and know the top speed of this? is it a fun sled??

in my magazine it said they top out at 79.46mph

thats faster then my 500f polaris...ina way that sux bc i toped out at 60 somthin im not even past 70 wow i might have to get one of those freestyles!!!!

my speedo has read 85ish before, I only weigh about 90 pounds so is this possible or is my speedo just a little happy

I think that may be pretty accurate. The 550f rev tops out at 80mph, assuming your 90lbs is at least 60lbs probably 80+ lbs lighter than the rider on the REV and the lightness of the freestyle compared to the rev I would guess the total weight could be almost 100lbs lighter.........that would make 5mph faster pretty feasible in my mind.

In the new snow tech magazine it said the would only do 55-60 mphs.

yeah, they call the doo's speedo the "dreamometer". I have a 06 500ss Adrenaline and I have a gotten it up to 101.5 and that was on a gps. The whole time my speedo said I was going 118.

I have no idea but I would guess its somewhere between what people have been saying. 75ish?

I don't know if this'll help, but apparently i was clocked going 95 km/h (not sure in mph) on my 300 freestyle, and i was being clocked by my dad, so if this helps in anyway.

The 500ss, has the 600 motor in it, so don't feel bad!

I'm a heavier guy so I regeared mine to a 19/43 and get 76mph now vs 69-70mph with the 21/43 setup.

I don't know if you guys read the post but this guy is looking at the back country freestyle which is the long track. I guessing top speed will be somewhere around 50-60mph

You're also 27 by your profile so I'm guessing you're about 180 lbs
