Rode 149 miles today - left IP about 8:30am - freshly groomed trails - 142-S to 3-S (yellow bucket trail) - rough at the top of 3 where groomer form IP turns around. Good coverage for the most part. 1A-S to 1-N nicely groomed, excellent coverage. 102-N smooth - snirty along the power lines. 142-N to 142A-N nice - a few thin spots here and there. 102C/114-N, groomed, good to excellent coverage. 114C-N nice to 102 not bad - snirty. 105 into Norton, fair coverage, not groomed in the morning - groomer was just getting ready to leave when I was at Norton store. Thin in several areas along 105-W - groomed when crossing into Derby Drift Dusters territory. 105-A groomed, very thin in the meadows leading into Derby - 5 very thin/bare in Derby. Derby Lake crossing was fine, plenty of snow. Back 105-E - all nicely groomed, 111-S flat and fast, as was 111A. 114A nice, good coverage. Rode back into IP on 114C and 142 all still in good shape after a day of moderate traffic. Still need to watch for the icey corners and thin spots here and there. Would highly recommend riding again before the end of the week. Forecast for midweek was mid 20's during the day and upper teens at night. Forecast is mid to upper 40's, low 50's and showers for Fri thru Sun. Hope this information helps somebody make plans to ride! :div20:
