What have people had for luck with the '06 RS Venture?

What do you all think about the Venture Lite? Pictures of it make it look ugly to me...

The Genesis 120 engine that the RS uses is very reliable and very fuel-efficient. They get about 20 mpg.
I think the Venture Lite looks OK. dunno.gif It certainly isnt any uglier than any Fusion, REV or Firecat.
I think the Venture Lite is going to be a great sled. Its going to give people the option of a 4-stroke (no smoke, no stink, less oil and fuel cost) but in a smaller, more affordable package. 340/500cc fan-cooled touring sleds are still very popular and I think a lot of people who want a 4-stroke but dont want a big, heavy, powerfull sled are going to really give the Venture Lite a serious look.

From the specs I saw, the Lite is only 40 pounds lighter than the Venture and it has the 80 HP motor in it instead of the Venture's 120.

One plus on the '07 Venture is that it looks like it has an adjustable backrest (or at least in implies that on the web site).

40 pounds is a lot though.

I suppose... if you took 40 lbs I'd be quite svelt.

If i could just cut out the :beerchug:

No kidding. People fuss about 10 or 20 pounds from one sled to the next, but they think nothing about ordering a double cheeseburger or an extra beer when they stop for lunch.
Just Yamin'
Hey I have clocked almost 900mi. on my 06 Venture and I was a Ski-doo diehard. Well now I am a believer. The power is there at all times and this sled breaks trails in Northern Ontario in armpit deep snow. On the trails it rides smooth but the skis are the pits. I will be changing them next fall. Great on fuel.Love the no smoke. Over all 9.9 on 10. Now I go YAMIN'.

Anyone here own a venture lite?
I am looking pretty seriously at one and would like to hear comments.
Can you really stud them, or would you thrash the muffler?
Is the front end up to par?
gas mileage, etc...
Thanks!
Ah! Here in Bethel, Alaska, there a few pans of ice strating to come down the river, but no snow yet.
