On the weather channel there was a report of a snowmobiler that had been separated from the rest of his group. The snowmobile was found ,but the driver was missing. Just wanted to know if he had been found?

Heard they give up the search today.
After hearing a few bad stories and near misses of riders getting stranded or lost in bad weather.
Just yesterday I noticed a difference in decisions made in the group I was with when the weather moved in earlier than expected. Maybe some lessons are being learned at a great expense though.
I sure hope someone finds that poor guys body so his family can have some closure.

Yes very sad.
When we ride in a group you are always responsible for the person behind you and it works. People stop to wait for the one behind and soon the whole group is stopped. Just be very careful when going back to check on someone as if he got going again he will be flipper to the bar trying to catch up.

Trying to spread the word to help out the family. Any help would be appreciated.
The family of a missing snowmobiler in St. Anthony is looking for help. 21 year old Andrew Eric Sexton of St. Anthony disappeared on February 25th. His snowmobile was recovered the following day, but there was no sign of the man. RCMP officially called off the search March 2nd. Greg, who identified himself as a family member, told VOCM Open Line with Bill Rowe that they're looking for a bloodhound to search the area. Greg says there aren't any in the province, and the closest trained dog they can find is in Boston. Greg says they hope somebody can help with the search. He can be reached at 754-8795.

The area they were in its very easy to get seperated. A few yrs ago i broke down in the same area and it was a 4hr walk before i seen another sled to give me a ride. Lucky for me it was warm and a very bright night. Also there is a lot of water in the area.
