Well the races at Lake morey were canceled again so all I can hope for is snow on thursday. Is there any base near the Failee area up to Chelsea area that might be worth hitting if we get another 6" or so? We have a cabin in South Vershire along corridor 5 and I know riding will still be limited, but nothing will suck more than if I do go up and there isn't even a base. Thanks

Went out yesterday to see what the trails in Chelsea are like and they're not passable. We moved four trees out of the trail, and finally found one we couldn't move (West Hill area between Chelsea and the trail to East Randolph). Dangerous riding - enough snow, but there are a lot of big limbs buried under it.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll stay home... like I have all season. I put on a whole 30 suck ass miles this season!

windsor county has been terrible (just below where you're talking about). i talked last night with a buddy there---- he said last time he rode was end of december. they got 9" of fluff the other day, but with no base you couldn't ride. has since settled to about 3" anyway, he said.
absolutely terrible.

If you feel like driving 30 minutes, you can trailer to East Randolph (park behind the church, trail access is on your left). All of the trails in East Randolph and Randolph Center have been packed and the forecast says another 2" - 7" tonight. The loop is about 30 - 35 miles of decent riding (open fields, woods). It's the only groomed riding within 50 miles that I know of.
