Feel free to post your Michigan Lower Peninsula tracks & waypoints in this thread. Maybe we can get a good collection of tracks thru the Lower.

I have edited a few of my tracks from my last visit to Grayling and created a nice 150 mile loop. There are also waypoints for food & gas.

GPSr: Garmin Etrex Legend (format .dgb)
Location: Grayling, MI

Bear Lake > Starvation Lake > Otsego Lake >Frederic > Grayling > Bear Lake

Not sure im doing this right, but here's my Lower tracks. I don't have the hang of the GPS bit real well yet. I have read (but do not understand) that you can take tracks and load them into a map so the GPS unit doesn't have to fill tself with track logs...? how can i do this to avoid filling the unit and those of other users?

thanks, Josh

This includes some stuff around starvation lake, fife lake and the kalkaska loop, cadillac, white pine trail, and even some stuff down in shelbyville.

Well Saturday I rode in MI's thumb on part of the new trail system. Went from Sandusky to Deckerville, ate lunch, then headed back to Sandusky. Marked waypoints for the parking area/trailhead in Sandusky, parking/trailhead in Deckerville, and Gas in Deckerville.

Hope this helps some of you out and RWS feel free to add this track to your MI maps. We stuck to the trail the entire trip so these tracks are accurate.

There is a few ways you can do go on a ride track your ride then download the map in your mapsource give it a name you can also edit it there to. or you can just leave it depending on what GPS you have i have a Garmin 60Cx with 2 gb of hard drive i have all on mine even trails i use for 4 wheeling hope this helps.
