Thanks for responding guys.......I used to live in Idaho, and get out there occasionally to ride. Just got back from the U.P. in Michigan this past weekend. Great back country riding, 4 foot base plus approx 18 inches new snow. According to the local paper, they have recv'd over 258" of snow this year, which is about normal. Leaving for northern Minnesota friday morning for a few days, then going to Ontario to ride north of Lake Superior the 11th of March for a week.

So i'm a little short of time right now, as I have to work a few days between trips, but would love talk with ya about conditions out there this year, best snow, etc.

Soon!!!!!!! dance_2.gif summer_sucks.gif

Suppose to be good riding around bonners.... and its really close to the canadian border. I Live in Spokane, WA right now, but I use to live in Coeur d' Alene, ID which is only like a 2 hour drive + or - from bonners.

I live in Hailey. On a good snow year I can ride from my house and be at the top of Quigley/Slaughterhouse/Cove canyons in about 10 minutes. But if it's sparse like last year, we have to ride in Stanley Basin area--just under an hour drive. All backcountry, steep and deep.

I just found this site. Mostly ride in Stanley Basin, but my brother's trying to get me out to the Trinities soon. Soon as I get my sled put back together.

Hail from Carefree, AZ... but do our riding in ID and UT....

Recently got back from two straight weeks of riding in Logan Canyon\Bear Lake....

Most of the time we were in Franklin Basin on the mountains... there was plenty of snow (4 storms during our trip) so lots of fresh powder too....

We rode from Feb 22nd through March 6th... Thinking of three straight weeks next season.... grin.png
