I walked up the road a little bit, then the snow squall hit,
I thought I was going to get frostbite just waling back to my truck.
They got about 1-1/2" or so, then it let up

We left Airport Road. It was 0 degrees F. Mostly loose inch of snow on top of ice. Rode about 1 mile, and started feeling the sled stick to the ground. Was really the track melting to the hyfax. Snow was not kicking up into the exchangers, or lubricating the track. We turned around after about 2.4 miles. Then, the sleds overheated, and we had to shut down...

I was motherf'ing the world. My dad pulled up and POOF, he popped the top. Anitfreeze everywhere!! We had to wait about ½ hour and then, we started up and headed back to the truck. We were back on the trailer by 8:00am.

Total trip. 5 miles.
Damage- Non to speak of aside from wear on track and hyfax

We stopped at Otis Resevoir on the way back. Watched the ice drags for about an hour, the went home. Terrible Terrible day. Nothing accomplished. To top it all off, I got home early and went furniture shopping with the wife.

Great Sunday........................... :frech32:
