We'll guys I think we can't write off the winter of 06' and hope for a better 07' winter.A week or two and we are going to be hitting March on the calendars. The shitty weather kills the positive attitude of even the most "hard" of "hardcoresledders".I am out of vacation for the year, weekend trips are smoked because of poor conditions, and refuse to let my sled get hooked in Quebec ,so I migh pack-away sled for the season.I guess I must shift gears and get ready for my rugby and softball seasons...........Sorry just had to vent but,I am sure there are more than a few who feel the same way.

I'm not giving up yet. That being said, no matter how much snow we get the remainder of this Winter, it was a total failure of a season for all those involved, especially the businesses that depend on us.

i talked with my dealer this morning about getting a part shipped. He said they have not had one person come in there the last week or so and buy anything. They have huge discounts on just about everything but nothing is moving. Those whose livelyhoods depend on this sport... dealers, store owners, hotels, repair shops are hurting big time. This winter sucks!!!!!! :banghead: :banghead:

im w/ the guy that started this thread
my riding friends are pissed at me, cause ive given up
i could honestly give 2 shits if it snows anymore, ive given up
the main reason is-- there is no more regularity to this season
if we get 6-8 inches, every sledder in the northeast is going to ride the snow
even if we get good snow-- the trails will be unmanageible w/ traffic
its just not worth it in my mind
also if the 07 winter sucks
im ending my snowmobile career
05 sucked 06 sucked worse 07 ? 3 strikes and Your out fellas

Yeah, my riding buddies and i have given up on the trails for this year. But every sunday we go to Lake Iroquios to race, we've been getting lucky and getting a little snow before each weekend so there is just enough to cool the sleds down. If anybody feels like head up to the lake on sundays. The action usually starts around 12:30 or so, theres trail sleds and the race only sleds.
Hope to see some new faces!

Man don't write it off yet! I know there has been little to no riding to date but March had brought some unbelievable riding to the NEK. Have some faith brother!
